    About the Special Issue

    Asthma is a heterogeneous disease of the airways with a high prevalence worldwide and characterized by chronic inflammation. The aim of asthma management is the control of the disease. Asthma is no longer recognized as a unique manifestation. People with asthma and especially severe ones, are evaluated in terms of their phenotype. The psychological and psychopathological impact of asthma takes on many forms, direct and indirect. In this Special Issue, we will focus on the psychological and psychopathological aspects of various asthma and outline how these aspects lead to tailored intervention.
