  • CiteScore 2023 of Three Open Exploration Journals

    On June 6, 2024, Elsevier officially released CiteScore 2023, an important indicator to measure the influence of journals. CiteScore can assist scientific researchers to analyze and evaluate journals, book series, conference proceedings and other series publications, and has been widely recognized and applied by scientific researchers, librarians, journal editors and publishers, and authors, providing scientific researchers with decision-making basis and improving decision-making quality and efficiency.

    CiteScore 2023 calculates the number of citations made in 2020-2023 for articles, reviews, conference papers, book chapters and data papers published in 2020-2023 divided by the total number of publications published in 2020-2023.

    Open Exploration currently has 3 journals indexed by Scopus. With the support of our Editors-in-Chief, Editorial Board Members, authors, reviewers and readers, 2 journals have achieved higher CiteScore scores than 2022, and a newly indexed journal has achieved its first CiteScore score.

    1. Exploration of Medicine (EM) journal's CiteScore reached 2.1 in 2023, up from 1.8 of 2022. This increase, while seemingly small, is significant in the academic field. This means that over the past year articles published in EM journal have had a wider impact in academia, attracting more researchers' attention and citations. In addition, out of a total of 636 journals in General Medicine, EM ranked 239th, located in Q2 region. This progress is closely related to the support and contribution of the majority of scientific researchers and professionals.

    2. Exploration of Targeted Anti-tumor Therapy (ETAT) journal’s 2023 CiteScore reached to 2.8, increased 1.1 points from 2022, with an increase of 64.7%, which reflects the journal's growing recognition in the oncology field, and the impact of its published articles in the academic community and the importance of published research results in practical applications. And in 2022, ETAT ranks 268/366 in oncology; In 2023, the journal ranks 251/404 in the field.

    3. Exploration of Immunology (EI) journal's CiteScore 2023 is 1.0, which not only marks the birth of EI's first CiteScore, but also an important progress in its development. As an academic journal founded in 2021, EI has gradually been indexed in authoritative databases in the past few years of development, and the research results published by EI have been widely concerned and recognized around the world. These achievements cover many disciplines, involving cutting-edge scientific problems and research with practical application value. The editorial team of EI also insist on strictly control the quality of the papers, ensuring that the published papers have a high academic level and practical application value.
